As you can see in the photo above, the Edgar Martinez baseball was finally used this past weekend, and the logo is absolutely tiny. Not to be unexpected, but this one might be the smallest we’ve ever seen.

When we look at the logo, we can see a few things. First of all, we see Edgar himself and his iconic batting stance, then we see something that has never been used on an in game commemorative before, the National Baseball Hall of Fame logo! Its tiny, you can not read the text even in the large logo variation of the ball. The logo needed to be bigger. Overall, I think this is the best commemorative so far this year. It looks fantastic.
