Unexpectedly, the Texas Rangers used this ball tonight (6/8/19) to commemorate the retirement of Adrian Beltre’s number 29. The logo itself is very very weak, beside the big numbers it just has his name below them, except for one tiny detail. If you look in-between “Adrian” and “Beltre” you can see the very tiny signature swing on one knee logo that’s been used for him in the past. As we’ve seen in the last year or so, a lot of teams have been releasing larger versions of the logos for autographs, and the Rangers have done the same with this.

Big big thank you to Garrett from Kansas City for hooking me up with some photos of this one, otherwise I would not have known. We get surprises every season, and it takes people like Garrett to let the world know.
So if you see something used this season that I have not yet reported on, let me know! Drop me a line! I am on twitter @thefrownyface or you can email me at ericabneri@hallofcommemoratives.com In the future I hope to be able to reward people who tip me off to things like this.
