The unfortunate news has been confirmed by team officials to me, there will be no Postseason commemorative used in 2020.
This will be the first Postseason since 2011 that does not use one. I believe that this is due to the expansion of the Postseason to include the new Wild Card Series, and there not being enough time to produce that many more baseballs for use. There is a possibility of these balls existing and leaking somewhere.
In other news, we have a mock-up look at the 2020 World Series commemorative baseball! I’ll update with a real photo when available.

As is now standard, there is no gold ink used in the logo, just the standard navy blue. This logo is extremely weak. Its 4 lines, the words “World Series” the MLB logo, and the year. That’s it. No commissioners trophy, absolutely nothing special at all.
I’m going to declare this ball the worst commemorative of 2020 and quite honestly it is not close.
MLB needs to step up and do better! This is just lame. You can find these here, on eBay.
